What We Stand For
Transparency In SBC Entities
We believe transparent, fully accountable SBC entities with the entrusted finances and entrusted ministry assignment results are essential to real partnership, aid our ministry effectiveness, and help the entities operate righteously before God and givers.
The Courage To Tell The Truth
We believe all Baptist people, bodies, and givers, along with the courts, deserve big capital “T” truth-telling regarding all aspects of the organization, even when the truth is unpleasant or unflattering to the organization or possibly impacts the givers. Deception and other forms are evil are to be exposed in keeping with Ephesians 5:11 (ESV): “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.”.
Respect For Baptist Autonomy
We believe the weaponizing of tithes and offerings with Baptist partners is ANTI-Baptist and is contrary to Baptist values of autonomous freedom, independence, and the Biblical command to do all things love.
Accountability For Dishonesty
We believe SBC entities that choose to not follow the SBC and other governing documents or choose to communicate deceptively to the courts or choose to bully other partners are dishonoring their trust and have gone rogue and should be confronted with the truth and disciplined financially or by other appropriate means.
Stand Up And Take Action
We believe the autonomy of Baptist churches, bodies, and ministers, the legal protective rights of Baptist ministers, and the mission gifts of Baptist have all been placed at great risk before federal courts with recent deceptive filings by two SBC entities and furthermore believe it is imperative that Baptist organizations and their leaders speak to these issues and take all means possible to correct these deceptions.
